Clinical Supervision and Consultation
Clinical Supervision is a staple of ethical psychotherapy practice. I am pleased to offer a supportive, reflective, and integrative learning experience for clinicians to grow and develop their skills. Whatever your level of development, Supervision and Clinical Consultation can be immensely helpful to developing your practice and skillset.

What's the difference between Clinical Supervision and Clinical Consultation?
A clinical supervisor is legally responsible for ensuring the care you provide to the people you serve is reflective of ethical practice. They often have oversight of your practice, and are a gatekeeper for the profession. To register as a Counsellor, you need to have worked with a Supervisor who has observed and can advocate for your work. This can include observing sessions, reviewing documentation, and supporting ongoing development.
Clinical Supervision is not just for new therapists! Having someone to support you during challenging situations or ethical quandaries can help you throughout your career span. Counselling can be an isolating profession. This isolation can lead to burn out, poor (even dangerous) decision making, and legal challenges.

Clinical Consultation is for registered clinicians who are seeking a safe and confidential space to discuss their clinical work, and obtain peer-level support for your practice. Together, we can discuss different approaches, engage in self-reflective practice, and build your skillset, confidence, and capacity. As stated above, counselling can be an isolating profession. I'm here to help you feel a little less alone.

The most ethical therapists know when to ask for help.
